Default Improving accuracy?

Can new strings and cables improve your accuracy? Or maybe i should say do old or bad quality strings and cables reduce your accuracy?

Old strings can become twisted after alot of shots and your peep can twist and be harder to see through...Im sure this is one thing about old strings that can affect your accuracy

I'm not so sure I'd say good strings make the bow more accurate so much as I do know they make the bow more consistently accurate over a longer time. Good quality strings that are prestretched and twisted properly won't creep near as much as poorer quality ones, therefore the tune of the bow doesn't change as often or as drastically. In fact, it's been my experience that with good quality strings, once they are shot-in and the bow is tuned there are very few if any adjustments ever needed during the life of the strings.

This statement only hold true for the strings I have used to date. That being Prostrings, Winner's Choice and Bucknasty.

Bad strings, regardless of ageaffect accuracy. One that isn't built properly will continuously move and change from shot to shot.It is a matter of how much and how accurate do you need to be for the venue you are shooting.

Good strings will creep over time and affect tune.BUT,this is a graduall change and very minimal.
