Default Offtopic but it was on the way home from bowshooting,

Had a Nissan Titan commercial today,[8D]

On the way home from our shoot today, Nate was riding with me in my Titan.
The wind was howling all day. We came around a corner and down a hill and there sat cars in both lanes. Getting closer we noticed a huge ash tree fell across the road blocking both lanes.

On either side of the tree were a couple cars and trucks that looked dumb founded. Apparantly no one with a chainsaw and we didn't have one either however, :

I went right around the line of cars and pulled right up to the tree towards the trunk. (on the way I said to Nate, think we can pull that thing?)

We jump out with an onlooking puzzled crowd, I grab a tow strap and he heads around the front, he hooks the tow strap to the tree, I strap it to the truck and jump in the cab, lock in the 4 wheel drive, threw her in reverse and proceeded to pull this huge tree away from one lane. The cars sit still.

I pulled into the tree again, he rehooks it and I pull it around some more. I yelled, that's good, he unstraps the tree, tosses the strap on the bed and I pull around the tree in the opposite side and head down the road. All the cars we passed in the other lane were clapping inside the cars and trucks.

We smiled and waved. It was like a Titan commercial. [8D] Too funny.

Must have blown over as I sped past in the Chevy. Where was it Rob? On 42? 'Cause I would have done the same thing. Must havehappenedright after we came through. You wouldn't believe how many people just don't do anything in a situation like that...I live for those "commercial" type moments.

LOL, yep. I always carry at least one tow strap though...most Toyota's don't need them, though
