Default Rather have the Arrow Pass through or stay in?

Which would you rather happen? I've heard guys love pass through due to the massive blood loss/trailing, and I've heard guys want that broadhead to stay in the body cavity and cause even more destruction while the animal runs and moves around inside. Which would you rather have? and which do you foresee as more lethal? I'd love more blood to trail, but I'd rather him laying dead at 60yds than blood to trail for hundreds of yards/miles.
