Default best place to hunt

If you could relocate anywhere in the US strictly to hunt on public land for trophy whitetail where would you go? Bow and/or rifle.

Strictly whitetail? If that's the case I'd stay in good ole IL.

Iowa!!Public ground in my neck of the woods gets a lot of pressure and there is very little of it.

Strictly Public? Some where west of the Mississippi. from some of the research ive done via the web, there is just ALOT more ground out there with much fewer hunters. Sounds like a win win. Id say Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, some where along those lines.

Trophy whitetail on public land. I think that has as much to do with your skill, luck, free timeand balls than it does with location. I'll take sawyer county WI, with paid vacation from 10/1 - 12/31.
