Default The new bow itch... finally got to me

So I went and shot the Bowtech's... the Guardian, the 101st, and the Commander (the General and the 82nd were not in stock).

Here are my thoughts:

The commander felt great, but too long for my likes as a bowhunter.

The Guardian felt pretty good, but there was some decent vibration that I'll attribute to the rest that was installed.

The 101st felt great... AFTER you got it to full draw. The draw cycle felt extremely rough... maybe I'm getting soft in my old age of 25, but the Vectrix (side by side) at the same draw weight put the bowtech to shame. It also seemed pretty loud but I can't make a judgment on that because I was shooting in a block tunnel.

A couple of guys at the shop agreed that the draw cycle on the 82nd was even more harsh than the 101st. Anybody have any opinions on that?

I'm definitely not sold yet, but I'll keep this open mind for a while...

Dustin shoot the Marquis while you're looking around. You may be surprised.

Agreed, the Marquis is real sweet. Also try to shoot the Katera if you can. Impressieve bow as well.

Something was amiss with that Guardian... you should have felt almost no vibration.

I agree, i shot the one at your booth last year at the Ill and deer and turkey classic, it was very quiet and shock free.

Germ, is Elite still having customer service issues or did all that get straightened out? I'll try to find a cardiac to shoot.

Yes, I agree that the rest had quite a bit to do with that. The place was closing and I didn't want them to rig up a new rest, but I'll give it another shot.
