I bet they stabilize well but what do you think about vibration dampening, have any of you had any experience with the company, or products?

I think Jim's line of stabs really gathered a large following from the "target" guys moreso... as opposed to the hunting crowd. At least initially.

Unless he's done something recently that I'm unaware of (and that could be entirely possible...), his stab line has always been more about balance than vibration-dampening... that's why I've continued to stick with my trusy Stealth stabilizers.

I agree with Greg. Doesn't look like anything more than a weightedaluminum tube with bowjax on it.

Guys...Jim has worked hard at eliminatingeven more vibrationas he now offers to put carbon rods insertswithin the aluminum stabilizer.

While I only have an original Posten stabilizer and haven't tried out the new Slim Jimmz or the originals with the carbon rod insert, from what I hear, the carbon rod really adds to vibration dampening.

I always skipped out on the weight stack and opted to put a Sims Vibration Dampener and that really helped kill some vibration.

My next purchase will be similarto whatBuckmaster is looking at, butwith a carbon rod insert. I am going to go for some weight stacks this time as well.

[EDIT]

Here is a picture of the original Posten with the Sims Dampener.

Makes an excellent product...add a carbon rod like Bols said if you really want to cut vibration.

I'll let you guys know how I like my new 12" slimm jimm when I get it here shortly.

I can't wait!
