Default Bear Truth 2

I'm new to this forum. I just wanted to know if anyone owned the new 08 Truth 2 bow, and what do they think about it? I already own the 07 Truth and love it. But I'm thinking of getting the Truth 2, and making the 07 my backup bow. Just wanted to know if all the hype is true or not? Thanks!!

I have shot the bow at a Cabelas before. I did like it, however, sometimes I find it hard to judge bows when you briefly shoot them at a shop. They had a cheap rest on it, and I was shooting various practicearrowsthat were all chewed up and worn out. I shot the 07 Truth bow once at Cabelas, and hated it. I think I slapped my arm with the string and just didn't like it. But I found the bow new at such a discounted price, and read so many good reviews on the bow. So I decided to buy it anyway. After I set it up just for me with the accessories that I like, I fell in love with the bow. Now I'm intrigued with the new Truth 2, and want to try it (Boys always wanting new toys)! Just wanted feedback from others how they think it compares to the rest.

I feel that you can do better for that much money.

I'm a shopping fool, and hardly ever pay full retail for anything. So I'm trying to do my research on different bows to see which one I want to go after. Once I narrow it down to 1 or 2 bows, then let the bargain shopping begin!

I have a Guardian and was thinking about buying a Truth 2. Looks nice but I would have to try it as well. I think it comes with the better strings which I heard is like a $80-100 upgrade normally but I could be wrong.

The Truth 2 does come with Winners Choice strings standard. I was also considering the Bear Done Deal which is the bow one step behind the Truth 2. It is almost the same bow, except without a couple bells and whistles. Mainly it doesn't come with the Winners Choice string. But is also $120 cheaper retail. Is the string that important?????????

I am not the one to answer that question best but I am sure someone on here can. I would say no for the most part and you can always get your string replaced/upgraded later on.
