Default anyone else keep record of deer taken

I have take 89 whitetail in my life
5 turkeys- 3 with a bow
and enough hogs to shake a stick at - in Fla

52 of them have been with bow - 19 of the 52 have been bucks ,

4 of them were killed with bear bows/thunderhead 100 grains
18 of them were taken with matthews bows and 100grain thunderheads,100 grain muzzys, and 100 grain spitfires
10 of them were taken with a bowtech- rage broadheads, g5-strikers, rcky mtn assassin
20 of them were taken with 4 different Hoyt bows - and a gob of heads thunderheads,100 grain rocket siderwinders, hammerheads, rage two blade, g-5 striker

bucks break down as
9 point -2
8 point -1
6 point -2
4 point -2
3 point -1
spike/button-11

I can see how the years have gone by and I have progressed to letting small bucks walk-

These deer were taken in 4 different States Fla, SC, AL, and NC

I have only killed one deer with a ML ,the other 36 deer were taken with a .243,.270,.25-06 and a .270wsm and I suddenly have no desire to gun hunt at allafter i got my best buck in 2006 - hunted through all of gun season in 07 with my bow-

I keep a record of all of my big game kills as well. I also started keeping a detailed journal of each of my hunts this year and plan on continuing this and adding in information from scouting trips as well. It's a great way to remember all of the details that would otherwise be forgotten.

I agree and Jeff(Gmmat) showed me some of his journals he kept on the computer of his hunts and something i plan on starting in 08 - I did track the weather and conditions as well as locations on the above information as well

That is a great idea and something I need to start tracking. That information can be very valuable on finding trends on deer movement from a particular stand.

I know I have taken over 70 whitetails, but Im not sure the exact number. I do know that 20 have been by bow, 2 with ML, and the rest with shotgun. As far as how many bucks, buttons, does... man I get back to you on that one!!

I keep a lifetime log. I don't have it in front of me, I'm somewhere in the 60's for total deer, and 38 bowkills.

I kept track until I hit 100. That was kind of a goal of mine when I started. That's been a few years ago and I have not kept track since.

I cn tell you how many deer I've seen.......how many were bucks/does.......and since I've only been hunting deer for 2+ seasons.....the numbers taken are pretty simple.

14 whitetails....all via archry tackle.
8 does
5 bucks (two 8-pointers; one 7-pointer; one 6 pointer; one 5-pointer)
1 BB (piebald)

All deer taken right here in NC.

Last year was my first to try hunting turkeys with archery tackle....and I took a gobbler on my 25th hunt of the season.
