ive not shot it, but for a Top bow of the brand, and the price of the bow, I think they should have put more craftsmanship into the grip, rather than a piece of loose fitting plastic held in place by a screw that doesnt even fit flush with the grip. The bow felt great, but that grip killed me. My bear Element feels better to me than it did. I would love to just shoot it though, ive not herd anything bad about them.

Just my opinion. I got to shoot he bow the other night. I think you can do a little better for that much money. If you like a single cam, or that's what you want, check out the Ross line.

My thoughts exactly when I shot it.

I agree, the grip is like putting a tape player in a Bentley, but everything else was nice. I would just make a new wood grip, pretty good with woodworking.

Not sure about buying a new bow, but I would like to shoot the Ross, too.
Thats prolly the funniest analogy ive ever heard.

Ryan.

I like the bow as well, but I wasn't thrilled about the grip either. So I contacted Bear archery. This iswhat they replied back to me:

(We have had several people interested in a possible grip option for the 2008 bows. Our company is looking into this and may be offering a 2nd grip toward the spring of 08.

Thanks

Kristi)

The whole bow is just ugly, I can't beleive they are using that as their flag ship this year. I'm a test engineer and not a product marketing exec. but they should have looked at the grip and color scheme a little more prior to releasing it, it gives the appearence of cheap. I did however shoot one, simply because I could.
