Default 3D Arrow question... will these work for me?

After the Sunday shoot i decided, Fat shafts are the way to go. I found some that a guy is getting rid of they are 25.25" shaft length....My EXACT length. He also stated they were 50-60lb spine. So i put on the brakes said i would be shooting 65lbs. so i dont guess they would work for me.

He then said he also shot 65lbs. with theses arrows and they shot great. he said he was averaging 299 38X with them but went with a longer drawlength so the were too short.

Ill be shoot the Allegiance i just bought at apx 27.5" DL and apx 65lbs. Are these arrows acceptable? Please explain.

That's the same arrow Jeff is using, just a lower tolerance grade. They are a fine arrow, assuming you are getting them for a good price.

Well they are a .250 spine, so they are actually a VERY stiff arrow. I'd like to know how heavy the points are in them, and if they are screw in, or glue in points.

As long as glue in points won't bump you out of hunter class (it won't for ASA sanctioned events), then this is perfect, and what I would recommend. I shot 90 grain glue ins out of a 70lb Apex 7 last year at 30.5" and it shot fantastic. These should be perfect for you. These really are a great arrow for anyone that wants a 3D specific arrow and doesn't want to spend a ton of money.
