Default Axis vs Epic

Looking for an opinion of Axis vs Epics or some Bemans for that matter. Right now I have 5 Axis 340s left and they changed them for this year and don't have the new one out yet. When they do I'm sure they will be around $10 per arrow. Need to find something new and want to stick with the skinny heavier carbons as they are quieter (due to weight I'm sure)and tougher than the Maxima 350sI used to shoot.

I don't feel the need to spend $10 per arrow and like the price of the Epics. The weight is the same on the Epics vs the older Axis. For those who have shot both is there much of a difference?

I have shot both before...they're a good arrow. I believe the Epic has a little heavier GPI than the Axis.( You will have to check out Easton's weight chart to confirm this)

I shoot the epics, seems to be good arrow for the price. $60 / doz. Just ordered New ones, needed to change from 300's to 340's.

Between the arrows you list I would choose the Axis.
I actually perfer the FMJ's or ACC's. The CX Maxima is my favorite all carbon arrowThe Axis are a very nice arrow though

The Axis is a great arrow and worth the price, IMO. Epic and Excel arrows are larger in diameter and don't seem to be as tough as the Axis - but they still shoot plenty good enough for 90% of the bowhunters out there. You might look on the AT classifieds - there were several sources on there selling the 2007 Axis ST's for a real good price.
