Goals for 08'

Well what are you all shooting for. I am looking to get Sam (my12 yr old) his first archery deer. Hopefully his first archery buck. Time for me to put myself on the back burner.

1st archery turkey

[GMMAT]

1. Archery turkey....but if not.....just have fun calling them.
2. First trad. kill (whitetail)
3. Have fun.....and still work on doe mgmt.
4. Hunt less
5. Hunt smarter (hand in hand with #4)
6. I'd like to show well in some 3D shoots.

I hope to enjoy good health again this year and Bowhunt another season. We are never guaranteed that. I had a friend who just bought a new bow and now due to an unfortunate accident will be lucky to Bowhunt again. My plans are:
1. Archery Turkey in NE.
2. Archery/Gun Split season Turkey in MO.
3. Archery/Gun Turkey in IL.
4. Archery Mule Deer in NE.
5. Archery Whitetail in IL.
6. Archery Late season Mule Deer in NE.
Those are my plans if the Good Lord doesn't change them
My Goal is to have Fun!!

O yeah! The wife and I have a fishing trip planned. I like to fish ok, but she is Nuts about it

3. Improve my 3d shooting/yardage judging

I got beat twice this year by 6 eyes both times. Both were at 15yds though. So... I want to beat 6 or more eyes and take the matriarch. For some reason, imagining that is more nerve racking than a one-on-one with a big buck.

I hope tokill a "shooter" in Alberta and to get a nice Pa buck as well.
