I just happened across them when I was checking on some information.....about our Dixie Deer Classic coming up in March. They list only the records for our state.
In all honesty, though....I've seen some photos of deer that IKNOW would make it....and they're not on there. I'm not sure it's accurate (doubt it)....but it tells a story.
My county averages "less than 5" record book bucks every year. One of the worst counties in the state.

Largest rackedbow kill in NC is 165". Largest racked bow kill in my county is 147". 4 Deer entered into P&Y in my county.

Is this all going back to the big debate you and GregH. had a week ago about bigger buck and success rate? Just joking with ya Jeff.. I have been down at my dads during hunting season and seen some of the deer killed down there my god are they ever small! Actually there is a camp directly behind his house that is owned by a bunch of guys in Florida. I think the biggest deer I ever seen those guys have was a 100# 4 point! And they thought it was huge.
