Default Treestand compensating rangefinder

What's up with this thing?...........just saw Waddell do a commercial for it. Do you guys really see that much of a difference in your ranged yardage??

I must be doing something wrong or right because I shoot whatever yardage I range and have not had any problems with high or low hits.

I think he showed 32 or 34 and compensated down to 25........Wha??? Are they 30 feet up or something??

What gives?

ive got one and you have to be pretty steep to make a valid difference but i actually like it pretty good.

Not at most of the yardages and angles I shoot. I could see if you're shooting down a hill or something but for normal situations I just range straight out and use that reading shooting at the respective angle downward. When I range both distances they're always within a yard or 2 or eachother anyway.

Try 60 feet up in that cherry picker.

30' up and under the difference doesn't exceed 2 yards let alone 9 yards.

Yeah Atlas I just seen something myself that the new range finders compensate for being up in a tree. I will do some searching and get back on this one.
I usually do the same if its 20 yards out I am aiming right on or if anything maybe a tad lower not to often. Heck even with 30 yards.

i just saw it too. It was 52 down to 43. that means he is over 29 yards up, or 87 feet. Unless im being retarded with my math right now. Dont put it past me.[:'(]

he is trying to sell a product...what do you expect

but for the example you gave ATLASMAN if 34 to 25 he would have to be 23.043 yards up!!!!!!!!!...

Advertising PloyIf you are looking to buy a new I guess it would be OK, but if not I'm sure the old one will work just fine, but then you should know that
