Default "nocking" around the idea...

Let's talk nocks.

How important are the roles of nocks, with reguards to accuracy. Are the factory nocks (say beman) sufficiant, or should I say, just as accurate as other factory nocks. Do you guys recomend "after market" nocks?

How much accuracy do you gain by going a differant nock? Are you just gaining speed with going with something different?

I've seen nocks such as bohning, or even the NAP Thunderball, a magnetic nock system, and wonder how they relate to others. Just curious.

i think nocks are a very small part of the equation on shooting accurate or speed. other components contribute more to how it will fly

Nocks will play a larger role than what most think. Nocks CAN and WILL wear out. Right now, I'm really liking the Bohning Blazer double lock nocks. They shoot GREAT for me. I like them, I'm shooting them on my hunting arrows AND my target arrows.

Fit is the most important as far as I'm concerned. I don't keep arrows very long.
