Default I found a little rub....

on my new property. I went exploring yesterday,on the property I just bought. I found this monster rub and scrape on a ridge leading to the CRP field. There were also some big beds on top of this ridge, 100 yards or so above the rub. The tree in the pic is about 10" in diameter. I think the deer killed the broken tree by rubbing the bark off of itover the years. The scrape is the size of my kitchen table. I have never seen anything like this hunting before.

There will be a stand in this area before spring.

Hurry,, and dump some corn and put a camera on it, and get a pic of him before he drops his antlers.. If he's around close by still, he will come in and give you a pic.. Nice big rub there.

Definately put a trail camera up! That would kill me not being able to know.

Probably a little fork horn with too much testosterone.

Sweet deal, man. Can't wait to see the dude that left that bad boy.

I had already setup my 2 trail cams, before I found the rub and I didn't have time to go back and move one. Next time I am there I am putting one on it for sure.

Not allowed to put bait or minerals out in IL. Not even in the offseason. They are afraid it would help spread CWD by the close contact of the animals on the bait.
