Well I am bow shopping and wanting to try a Hoyt but all the dealers have dropped them from their stores. I talked with a dealer today and he let his last 4 go at like cost. Can anybody give me some insight? I have heard it is because of customer service. But the dealer I talked with today said they just were not selling....
to be completely honest, they are great shooting bows, but they havent really released anything "ground breaking" in the past few years, and I personally thikn the newer parrarel limb style hoyts are just plain heavy and bulky.

They're alive and well in my neck of the woods. I think, like most things, it's fairly territorial. Around here, NOBODY shoots Mathews.....Can you believe that?? But it's true...NOBODY. BUT, you head 35 miles east, and they're all you see, almost.
We have absolutely no trouble w/ their customer service, at all.

That is crazy. I shot a ton of matthews today and yesterday. They felt great great especially the DXT and Drenalin, but I want to get it side by side with the Hoyt Katera. That felt great in my hands but just have not shot it....
Oddly enough, the 4 closest shops (not counting Gander) around me are 2 Hoyt dealers, 1 Mathews dealer and traveling a little further there is a dealer that carries both Mathews and Hoyt and then another Hoyt dealer!
