Default viper sights...quick...

alright Viper fans, someone posted a link to a pretty good deal on the Viper Pro Microtune with .010 pins....i will be getting my income tax here reallllll soon.....i will be home monday and tuesday to intercept the mail...mom will never know....(she just dont like me spending my money lol...) if i order within an hour or so, i have faith it will come in on tuesday with any luck....been wanting a good sight for a long while now...just never got around to it....

just a few questions...

can i add a 5th and maybe 6th pin?? pretty sure GMMAT has 5 on his right?? i got 5 pins now...like them all for my long range target shooting...

you guys shooting indoors with it, do you need a light?? noticed today at the range i could only see my yellow pin...but im shooting a truglo with .029 pins...just curious...i never shot indoor till today...i was bored and found a new hobby...4$ an hour, i just might start shooting atleast once a week or more...

figuring on adding atleast a top .019 pin, maybe top 2 .019 for hunting...keep the bottom 2 or 3 or 4 .010 for my long range shooting...so long as i can add pins without much trouble...

thanx guys....

I have the exact configuration you describe....and yes...I added a 5th pin. No problems.

My green pin is the brightest.....and I rarely use the light for indoors.

thamx Jeff...i thought thats how you had yours setup...

i did place my order. forgot that it wont be shipped till tuesday due to the holiday...oh well...i have a buddy that works at UPS that can snag it for me...if not, i really dont care...mom shouldnt be opening my boxes anyways...and if she catches me, i will tell her it was 15$ part that broke on my bow and i need it ive done all of the above alot more than once....she still thinks my 1200$ groundhog rifle was "ABOUT 150$" cant blame her, trying to make sure i dont blow my money in all the wrong places...but im pretty sensible...if i needed the money somewhere else, i wouldnt have spent it....but i hate to pass up a deal....wont need anything other than my top pin for a while...going to be a while before my butt gets back outside to shoot...dont mind shooting in the cold, but sighting in with 8 layers of clothes on aint going to be too fun....hmmm there is a 40yd indoor range not far from school....think i will go there next week

i might have found my new love...dont know why i never shot indoor before...our winter is short enough that i dont mind taking a 2-3 month break...but i did enjoy shooting indoors today..

cant wait to get it...next weekend i will work on setting it up and sighting it in at 20yds...cant wait...really feel that its going to help me more than anything...next is probably a BT release and then a QAD rest...want to learn BT to help my release...after that, there wont be much standing in the way of excuses for poor shooting lol...just feel that last summer i hit a platue and feel the sights and rest are what stand in my way the most..
