Default Today's THE Day

I am closing on my property today. I'll be doing A LOT of exploring this weekend. In between setting up for a NWTF Banquet we are hosting on Saturday night.

Here is a pic of the property, 84 acres of Whitetail Heaven.

Green field is CRP. The "T" shaped field is an overgrown field.

Seriously, you gotta turn this T shaped fieldinto a plot. I'm not even kidding, this place is such a perfect patch to start your own piece of paradise. Get a biologist in there that can also manage and mark for a logging team in there to selective cut for deer management, take the $$$ from the logging project to pay for a nice 30+ hp 4wd tractor and some implements, and turn this place into the sweetest place for big bucks for miles.

Congrats to you, I really hope to someday be in a position to have a patch this large that is completely my own and MUCH closer to home than my current patch. Make sure you post pics when you go scouting.......
