Default The Rock

Been pricing some bows. Any opinions of the new rock for 08. Package runs around $450.

It is pretty much the same as the 07 Rapture (which it replaced). My son and I tried both when he got his Rapture. I didn't see any noticeable difference. Very smooth and very solid wall.

Excellent bow for the price. Sportsman's was carrying the package for $499 and we sold several while I was still with them. Very nice shooting bow for the money, smooth and solid, very accurate.

I have an 07 rapture the only differance I have found is 3/4 inch shorter brace height on the Rock. I shot both bows but bought the rapture because it was 299.00 on a clearance rack

I compared mine directly to two other Diamond offeringsand one of the new Bowtech bows in a recent review.....

http://www.huntingnet.com/fieldjournal/fieldjournal_detail.aspx?nID=818

My opinion is that it is an excellent bow for the price. The two things that stand out the most to me about it are its speed and its weight. It is a featheweight. Extremely easy to tote around and very compact. The speed was also excellent on the unit I have in my possession. I was actually getting better speeds out of it in comparison to the Black Ice, Marquis and General. For the price they are selling them for I thinkit isan excellent option.

Hey did not know you worked for sportsman's, I do too. About the rock it is a great middle range bow.
