Just wondering what you guys do a week working out since usually the bowhunters stay in slightly better shape. I try for an hour a day 5 days of the week.

I run and shoot as regularly as I can, but thats about it. I'm fit enough to do the things I enjoy without a problem, so I really never got into working out.

to keep my arms steady i shoot regularly, keep working out 3-4 times a week running, also do workouts designed to target the arm muscles for shooting a bow. my max range is (6-8 inch groups at 70 yards) depending on how many rounds i have shot.

my wife says i only smile ear to ear for a picture when there is something dead in my hands.
When I was a body builder I hit the weights 4 times a week, chest/tris...back/bi's...shoulders....legs each body part got one day. Now, I do not lift anything, have not done so for 2 yrs.. I used to jog 3 miles a day 5 days aweek too, not anymore... now im fat andlazy!!

The ability to get close to game remains the essence of all bowhunting today.
Cardio6 days a week now. Every other day Light weights with high reps (Full Body workout) the first week then Rubber Band workout the 2nd week and alternate between the 2 every week.
I will do this for the next 6 weeks then will adjust, what that is not sure at this time.
