That's a nice buck in a great pic. He's a bigger version of this one I got last week.This is on state land, bowhunting only. These guys will be around next season, but bigger.

The spot where those pics were taken is completely torn up. I found 3 new ground scrapes(one fresh from today), and 3-4 new trees rubbed. I'm thinking the unusually high number of does in the area is prolonging the rut(not all have been bred yet). Just last week I saw a couple of smaller bucks chasing a doe there.
