box or tower blind or wood built blind

OK i was looking at the tower and box blind that are plastic sealed and some where raised 10 feet off the ground

Some of the ones on cabela's are1200 to even 1500.

would you buy one of these or just build one out of 2x4s and plywood

also if i was to build one and use small house windows from lowes that are like 18 inchs tall and run down the lenth of the wall

would i need to worry about the noise from a muzzleloader or shotgun breaking the glass
I thought about using windows so it was sealed when i was not hunting and would help with scent control
