I really am only concerned with hunting whitetails, I have little desire to hunt anything else. I used to hunt turkey, squirrel, dove, deer, ground hogs, crows. As Ive gotten older I only seem to find time to deer hunt and bass fish. I have nothing against any kind of hunting, in fact, I wish I had the motivation to hunt more than deer, deer just consume me. The only thing that i devote that much time to is bassin. Is there something wrong with me??

Whitetails and turkeys in my home states I couldn't be happy without every year. Outside of this though, for those I gotta do it at least one time type of hunts, they are listed below:
Caribou
Elk
Moose
Whitetails somewhere that I'm likely to seesomething huge (midwest)
I'd like the Caribou and Moose to happen in Alaska. I really want to see Alaska before I die.
I do more whitetail hunting then anything else. There are others though that I cannot go without either. I haven't missed a bear season since 1989. Although I'm in a lottery pick area and if I don't get drawn I will then go with some guys that I know who did get drawn and I'll then give them a hand. I use to go elk hunting out in Montana every year but the finances don't allow that as often anymore, hopefully that will change.
We really don't have other big game animals in this part of Va too much. Sometimes a black bear will come close but not often. No chance to kill anything but small game, turkey and deer, with the occassional coyote.

i love all kinds of hunting. i think the only thing in the state i havent hunted that you can hunt with over the counter licenses is bear, just because i never have the time.
summer time, nothing beats sitting in a fresh cut hayfield with the 22-250 spotting groundhogs at the end of the field that the average person would never see, let alone kill.
right before bow season, i enjoy sitting on a 5 gallon bucket and shooting doves...
spring, well thats turkey season and trout fishin. i love them both...i love spring as much as i love fall.
winter time i like to hunt with the flintlock for deer and grouse hunt.
all year round, i love running coon hounds.
fall, i also love to small game/upland bird and fall turkey hunt..
i love it all...cant nail down a favorite...
different strokes for different folks...were all hunters.
