Default what to look for in a good range finder

i think i might try and get a range finder for next season

here is my situation
i am in Indiana southwest some hill not to many so not to much for angle need but some.

Ihunt with a bow primary but will use it for shotgun and muzzle loader.
Also i will use it in a tree stand and on the ground.
What range finder should i look at i do not wont to break the bank.
but i do not wont something cheap.
Should i geta model with a angle finder for bow. even though i am in Indiana and it is mostly flat.

i saw a nice one in cabalas but when i saw a 600 dollar price tag i choked.
I do not wont to spend more on a range finder then a scope.
but again i do not wont something junk.
also what Can i expect to spend on a nice model.

I have a Nikkon 440 that works great . good for bow and muzzle . good out to 400 yards or so . I don't shoot any further than 100 and most of the time less than 50 so it isgood for me. Got it on sale for about 170 $ . hope this helps you

The Bushnell Scout model is 250$ in Cabela's mid winter sale. I have this one and it has performed very well for me. Max range is around 350 yards if memory serves me right.
