Default New forum rules, guidelines and helpful tips!

OK in this time of closed (or nearly closed) hunting seasons things seem to be getting a little testy around here.

To rectify the situation the following rules and guidelines will be instituted immediately

1. All naked PETA threads must be accompanied by pictures.
2. The maximum shot distance you should shoot, depends on your location, and is inversely proportional to the amount of public land in your area, and directly proportional to the square root of the amount of hunting products pimped on your favorite hunting show. And whether or not the salesman said you can shoot that far.
3. The best trail cameras to buy are ones that give you pics of huge bucks.
4. Shooting at hunting screens is fun. Just don"™t shoot at your tv screen while a hunting show is on. Unless you are tired of seeing products pimped.
5. Yea, your season is over and you did or did not get one"¦..woo hoo, we are all happy for you. Our seasons are ending too and we did or did not get one also.
6. If you plan to purchase any new gear for the off season, please come here and ask us how it will perform for you AFTER you"™ve already bought it. This includes all broadheads, camo, trail cams, and arrows.
7. And one final thing, yes it is always better to shoot a sharp broadhead over a dull one, unless you know someone else who shoots dull heads and it works fine for them.

So rule #2 means I can shoot 37.82 yds or am I mistaken?

I'm shooting one in the head this fall with this bludgeon broadhead.

I'll be using a 150 grain arrow at 500 fps.

As per #2, you cannot move your stand without changing location!
