Default Was this your best season?

I will say that this was my best season by far. Now, I have killed bigger deer in other seasons, but this one was full of nice buck harvests and plenty of meet for the freezer. My best bow season by far, and also gotone good buck with the gun. I will never forget the 2007 season, especially the bow season. What a great year for me, my familly, and friends. All of us took deer, some of us took our personal best and lots of deer sightings to boot. I don't remember a year when so many big bucks were taken here in Va in a 20 mile range. My club killed over 20 mountable deer. There have been 5 taken 2 miles from my house on some lease property in our club that will all go over 135". One trac of land produced 5 wall hangers! South east Va is coming into it's own and has been for years.

Glad you had a good year. This was actually my worst in a long time. I guess I was due for one.

This was by far my best season. I took two doe and a turkey with my bow so far. Then I took two bucks with a gun.

Not to mention my favorite part of the season. I got my best friend, his older brother, and my father into bow hunting this past summer. My best friend took a great eight pointer (117 3/8), his brother took a nine pointer (about 100") and my dad took a doe. I have to say I am MUCH prouder of them than I am myself. It was an extremely successful season.

I would have to say it was my best season. I shot my biggest buck ever and my fiance got her first buck this season while hunting with me! It was a very memorable season! Here are the pics:

Super proud of this lil lady!

I also shot a doe early, and a doe with my T/C Muzzy. Got a coyote with my bow for the second year in a row too! Probably won't forget this season, had a lot of fun andI am looking forward to many more seasons enjoying what I love!

My worst gun season, best bow season, best turkey season. It was my best small game bow season, I shot 2 cats, woodchuck, 2 roosters, many squirrels, many rabbits, tweetie birds, it was a good year.

This was certainly my best season to date. First bow killed buck (and a P&Y at that) and a doe a week later. Perfect shots, no misses or wounds.....Saw plenty of deer, lots of bucks.....It was awesome.

It was my best year for bow hunting deer this year, I shot my biggest buck to date, he scored 140 1/8 P@Y! It took me 15 years of passing on the little guys to get this one and it finally paid off.
