Default How to offer someone a good deal?

Just asking....

I know we have a "classifieds" forum.....but to be honest....if "I" were to offer someone a "deal" on something....I'd prefer to pass along said deal to someone I knew, right here in the bowhunting forum.

Or...at LEAST....give them a first shot at said item.

Is there a way to offer something up for sale.....without breaking the forum rules?

Happy New Year.

I could certainly do that (Sig)....but I still don't want to break a forum rule. Things have gone well NOT allowing a bunch of stuff like this.

Hey....I'm just asking.....would it be difficult or possible to have a sticky where we could offer items to one another.....right here in this forum......FIRST?

If "NO"....I'll live with that and move on. If "Yes"....it just seems (on the surface) like a fairly good idea. Of course......like the other classifieds.....HNI would have NO RESPONSIBILITY.

I know when I put my stuff up for sale I put a post in the classified section, then put a few posts in other forums to let people know what I was selling. May not have been entirely "legal" but no one deleted them or said anything about it. Considering some of the other stuff that goes on and gets posted here I wouldn't consider it a big deal.

I don't know if I would put it in my sig, I don't even read most peoples signatures most of the time.

Technically you are breaking a rule right now with this post being that it is off topic and not about bow hunting. Might as well just say what you have for sale and get it over with.

If they don't like it they will delete or move it. I doubt you will get banned unless you do it several times after being told not to.
