Default crossbow or bow for 15 yr old hunter under budget?

i was wondering what you would reccommend a crossbow or a bow under a tihgt budget for a teenage hunter??

i looked at buying a crossbow it seems there alittle more then bows

wat is better to start off with do u think and easier to use because i dont have much tiime to practice a lot?

If your going to bow hunt the bottom line is you need to practice. There's to many things to go wrong on a bow and arrow not to practice here and there. If you don't want to put the time in then buy a crossbow, make sure there legal in your state before you buy one. The guys tell me there pretty easy to figure out.

i have the same problem with practicing but i do not have anyplace close to do it

i would go with a bow but a crossbow will give you higher poundage and easy to hold and aim how often can you practice

will maybe once a week because im in high school i got cross country and social activities and track nad swimming every day

i see no proplem with once a week but get out there as much as you can and there is always the summer
i wuld get a compound and just jump in two feet
good luck and if you need anything feel free to let me know

i started huntng when i was 13 got a used bear bow went hunting one year then had it stolen got back into hunting four years ago allself tougt

Not sure what state you live in.Crossbows are not legal in many states except for people with disability's
