"Santa" was good to my 10 year old son. He received his first real bow. Its a Bowtech Diamond Edge. I had a Wisker Biscuit put on it. He is shooting 26lbs with a 22" draw. It shoots Beamon ics hunter junior arrows at a blazing 155 fps. I also picked up a Tru Fire Patriot Jr. for his release. (He asked me to put all the "stats" frrom the bow in this post.) He has to wait 2 years to hunt. That gives us plenty of practice time.

He already is starting to wear out our 4x4 Block that we have in the basement.

On side note, he was really happy to get a Gander Mt. gift card. Not long ago he wanted toys that he would play with for a month and forget about them. He's growing up fast!

Looks like you could add a little in the draw length, and your "T" is not.........Ah just joking. Thats awesome, he's gonna be so revved up having towait 2 years. Actually, you'll probably be psyched even more than him.

Actually, he needs to stand straighter and just straighten the arm some, that should correct the draw length issue but hey, he has a lot of time to work on that.

Congrats to your boy, janesburg. Nice bow, good job on the gift and I foresee years of memories to come.

Eventhough the form might not be the greatest(He's young, he'll get there), the best part is the smile on his face while shooting his bow. Priceless!!

You guys are ridiculous with the form stuff LOL. It's great to see a young archer and future bowhunter. I can see it was a Merry Christmas at your house. We can see the smile on his face, but I can only imagine the smile on yours.

Nothing better than that. Now you'll have a buddy to practice, scout and hunt with.....priceless.
