Default Want to hear a ggod one?
Come home friday looking forward to the next 4 days off from work. Plan on doing some bowhunting late PA archery and some Duck hunting on New Years day with my son! So friday nite I go out to the screen porch where I store all my hunting and fishing gear. I had all my cold weather Deer and Duck hunting clothes washed and ready to go in two sealed trash bags. So gess what!!!!! when my son put out all the trash from Xmas he also put out my 2 bags of hunting clothes with the Xmas trash[:@][][:-][&o][X(]I'm NUMB!!!!!!!! Let's just say it was about low end $1500 worth of gear. The one that realy burns me is the King Of The Mountain Bowhunter jacket[:@][:'(][][:-][&o][>:]!!!! OH I forgot!!! He also trashed my PA hunting LIC, Doe Tags and Fed Duck stamp that was on the back of my $100 Cabelas Big game hunting vest[:@][:'(][][:-][&o][X(][>:]I go to Virgina Duck hunting in two weeks and I have nothing!!!LOL!!!!!LOL!!!!!! What can I say!!!LOL!!!!!! I'm sunk!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!

Now that is just about as bad as it gets. I agree, the King of the Mountain jacket is a real bummer. And the license.... that really really does suck. You're a little calmer about it than I'd be. I'd be out buying new just to ease the pain.[8D]

wow....that sucks.....sorry man

is there anyway you can go contact the trash service and see if they found stuff that shouldnt have been in the trach......kind of like a "lost n found"?

Ahhh, it was time for you to get new gear anyways, your clothes were getting a little shabby.

Anyway you could track something like that down? A bag full of hunting clothes would look and feel different than a bag of trash, I'd be heading to the landfill.

Listen, I used to drivea garbage truck and I can guarantee you there is some garbage man thatsaved your gear and is very happy right now. Sorry, but that is the way it is, they salvage what they can get. SRM out!
