Default New bow hunter

I am looking to purchase a bow to get started in bow hunting. I currently have a crossbow and hunted with good sucess this year but I want to get a bow. I am looking at a used Martin Saber and a Mathews Outback currently. Both are in the same price range and I really dont want to sink a lot of cash in it right now. Any recomendations?

I've shot an outback and it's a very good bow. I don't know anything about the Martin Saber so i can't say anything about it. I would suggest you look at some Diamondor Bear bows. They make some good bows at a reasonable price. Go and shoot some bows and see what you like. Hope this helps and good luck.

Take the Matthews if those are your only options....however I owned one and let her go......If it was me I would buy a Hoyt on ebay at a sweet price. I couldtalk for hours about Hoyt. 20 years of bowhunting and 33 years old now....for the rest of my days I will hold a Hoyt.
