Default Christmas Day Shed

The antlers are just starting to fall here in our neck of the woods. A couple weeks ago we saw this guy with his left side missing. Then on Christmas Day, my wife found it(9 points) only 10 yards from the stand in the snow. We also saw the same buck on Christmas Day, and he has already shed his other side as well. Once the snow melts we'll head out looking for it. We've seen him several times this year, always in the same area. I'm pretty confident he's a 3 1/2 year old.

That is one thick, ugly antler. Must be a great buck. Can't wait to see pics next year.

Yep, it's the same buck. To tell you the truth, now that I have his shed, i'm kind of glad I didn't connect with him. He has a lot of potential... and I would love to see what he can do with another year.

Only thing is it's a bit dissapointing in that I've got some hunting time left and I want all these guys to keep their antlers until the season's over!
