Default Whitetail season unexpectedly ended

First off, I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas. With NewYears around the corner I wish the same for all, be safe and enjoy.

Well as of Christmas day my Whitetail season ended. My 4 year old son Tyson had a sledding accident and ended up break his foot ina coupleplaces, two bones and crushing one end of a metatarsal. I was scheduled and fully packed and ready to leave for ND on the 26. I had to call my good bud Tim in ND and share the news with him about Tyson. My stuff is still all packed out in the car in the garage, the past few days with Tyson have been busy and he's been in a lot of pain. He's seen a specialist as of yesterday. We have to wait till Thursday for the swelling to go down and get his foot pinned and casted! Fun Fun Fun... Say a prayer for my little guy if you dont mind folks, I am most concerned about the growth plate that has been damaged.

Sorry to hear of your son's accident. When they're that young, it's tough.

Wow!!! Sorry to hear that Troy, hope the little guy doesn't have any long term effects from the accident. Kids can heal up in a hurry, and hopefully he'll be as good as new.

We were sledding at my grandma's house a long time ago and my cousin ran into a tree. He had a pain in his side for a day or so, and my aunt took him to the doc. He had ruptured his spleen and needed emergency surgery to remove it. He ended up fine tho.

Prayers sent for a speedy recovery for Tyson.

By the way, what are you doing up at this hour??

Sorry to hear, Shed. I'm sure he'll be alright. Kids are resilient.

Hey Troy, sorry to hearthe bad news about Ty. He's a tough kid though, I'm sure he'll be fine.I have seen what a person can go thru with a bad foot injury. We'll keep the little guy in our thoughts & prayers for a full recovery.

We will keep your family in our prayers.

Nothing frightened me more than harm coming to my kids when I was raising my children. Their health and safety were constantly in the back of my mind.
