Default unwrapable gifts the best

Last night being christmas eve I stopped by my friends bakery to pick up some pastries for the family. While I was there, my friends dad needed some things delivered 2 min. down the street so I told him no problem. I get to the place and its this huge compound with a ton of property, and all I'm thinking is how sweet it would be to have permission there to hunt. I get back to the bakery and ask him what goes on at this place and he proceeds to tell me that he did the people there a huge favor and that next year if I want to hunt it(he knows I'm a bow junkie) he'll call in his marker and hook me up. WWWHHHAAAATTTT? I didn't even ask about hunting.Hope for next year, merry xmas to me! I then go to my parents house and a family friend is there. She justmoved into a cottage on 26 acres and said she'd talk to the owner to get me permission. The owner also owns 1000 acres in another location near by that her boyfriend 4 wheels on and that she'd try to get me permission there also.I must've been a good boy this year, cause I never have this kind of luck. If only 1 of these pans out I'll be psyched. Sorry for the long post but had to release.

Are you dreaming or did this really happen? That is excellent! Is that Westchester County acreage? If so you may be my new best friend!

Yeah, some of it's westchester, andsome of it's putnam, and some of it's putnam bordering conn. I hate to get my hopes up but I'm already psyched for next year. It probably is a dream though, with my luck.

Hey I hope it pans out for you.I live in Ulster County and would give a body part to have access to some of that archery only area. I wouldn't let up on those offers,I would tactfully persist,a reminder,a nicely written note, don't let that momemtum or enthusiasm pass you by! Good luck!
