i just want to say this for everyone. i would not recomend the apple flavor at all but the other flavors work great especially molasses. but i think buck grub is one of the best

I would suggest waiting until the summer or next bow season. If I'm not mistaken it's just sodium and salt, but check the label to make sure. Down here in the deep south, the deer will only use it when it's hot. When it cools off, they won't touch it.

I was given a jug of it for a Xmas gift quite a few years ago. We used it in late Febuary when the bucks were shedding to see if it was any good. Poured it on the ground, tree stumps and an old hay bale. The deer devoured it. Wasn't much left of the old hay bale when they were done with it !! They love it in cold weather too.

I usually put it on corn and then after the corn is gone the deer paw at the ground. I use it all season long as they use it all season long. Not just in the summer.

They seem to like the P-Nut Butter scent the best. Then the Apple. They didn't care too much for the Persimmon on my land. All deer are going to be different so one they might love one flavor on your land, but not touch it on mine. All of it tastes the same, just smells different.

I will say that the BuckJam is by far the best thing I've ever seen on my land. I've tried BuckGrub, BuckBran, Trophy Rock, Lucky Buck and a few other things, but nothing has worked to bring the deer in like the BuckJam.
