Good reminder. I've yet to visit my landowners, but I have some nice little gifts in mind. I hope they don't mind homemade venision summer sausage. Found a great recipe in an Illinois outdoor magazine and it tastes exactly like the sausage the processor makes.

Thanks for the reminder. I promissed my land owner some deer meat this year. He's a single guy around 75 years old.
Funny thing is that he says he knows that i am not the only one that hunts his property but in 20 years no one but me has ever even bothered to ask him.
