Default Late Season Food Source

here in Mo there is a few inches of snow on the ground and was wondering what would be the top pick for a late season food source that can be picked at through snow. so if you had one place to set up what food source would it be near?

A cut corn field will draw them for weeks after the harvest, I'm still finding cobs in my woods nearly 8 weeks after the guy across the street cut his.
