Default 2007 season-The Best Yet-review with pictures

2007 was with out a doubt the best season of my life so far. The first hunt of the year sealed it and everything from there on out was icing on the cake!

My 9 year old son killed his first deer on his first hunt in our early october youth season.

Then on Oct 20th I shot my doe for the year.

Started my 2 week rut vacation off in style killing this buck on Nov. 4th.

Last day of our first 3 day gun season my son connected on his second deer and my 80 year old grandpa was hunting with us!!

Then on thursday Nov. 29th the first day of our second gun season (and the only time I didn't have my son with me) I shot this buck as he came to munch on some rye with his doe fawn girl friend.

30 minutes later my 80 year old grandpa shoots this buck. He told me after the fact that he really wanted to be able to shoot a deer after he turned 80 and hoped it might be a buck!! Pretty cool that it happened!

Not a bad season for only owning and hunting on 32 acres!!
