Germ, way to hang in there buddy. You get the "keep trying" award this year. Great looking spot. Is this anywhere near the river setups? If not, did the deer change patterns?

This is my uncles farm, River is right behind me

This time of year I will see 30 or zip. Right at primetime some sleds went roaring by across the river.

It look like 4 deer went through there this morning. I just have to catch them on my side of the river. Plus I cannot use the boat in east wind. For the last 4 hunts I have had a NE wind.So I have been in the front of the farm.

This morning was rough, who knows what walk by me[8D] I had my head down the entire time almost. I hunted in this bottom and the wind was still strong. I setup ay 1:00 PM and made two trips, by the time I walked in my tracks were coverd from earlier.

Here's another strange event, my acorn ridge is loaded in the middle of the farm. Not a drop early season, and now tons of them[&:]

I see the river there now, I don't know why I didn't notice it. I guess I was busy eyeballing the blind and surroundings.
Keep at it bud.

We got some flurries pretty much ALL day but nothing like this. I wish we would get a good snow occasionally.
