Default NC Deer Hunting Outfitters Questions

Tred this in the Hunts/Outfitters Forum and didnt get any responses so thought I would try it here.Looking for a good deer hunting Outfitter in NC with a bow. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on places to go or not to go. I have a few places in mind but am not shure yet some of the places are Piney Woods Outfitters, Carolina Whitetail Outfitters, East Carolina Outfitters,Roanoke Outfitters,Lily Pond Creek Hunting Lodge, and Honey Hole Outfitters. Also are there any suggestions on what I should look for before booking this hunt. Thanks any info will help Dads 50th Birthday Present

When I lived in NC for a while I didn't see any deer worth hunting and dang sure not worth paying for an outfitter for. Try Kentucky, I hear they have good hunting for a resonable cost and it should be close enough to you. Just my two cents.

True for the most part. The best counties in NC are the northern counties on nc/virginia border ie Pender, halifax, northampton, johnston and a couple others. A friend of mine just paid $800 for a 3 day hunt this past week in Person county, i told him he was nuts and he came back empty handed and no sightings. Might be worth it in early november but not mid december... My money heads west with me.

I live in NC and have managed to do OK, but I think you would be best off in the northern part of the state or Virginia.
