Default Hittin' the road again!

I'm going out of town for a hunt again this weekend. My nephew Tanner and I are going on a managment hunt in central Tx. on a lease that belongs to a member of my church. Tanner has never killed a deer. He will be guided by the host and will be using a .243. Turkeys are also fair game and a .243 is legal in the county we're hunting so Tanner will have a shot at a bird too.
I'll be bringing both my recurve and my compound. I'll determine which one I'll be hunting with after checking out the stands that will be available to me. I hope to kill a doe Friday with the recurve and then a turkey Saturday with the Diamond. Regardless, its always fun to hunt a new spot.

Journeying again?

Good luck to both Tanner and yourself! Smack a couple turkeys and deer around.
