Default When was the last time...

you shot your bow?

I shot a dozen shots in my backyard Saturday, before I went hunting. We all need to keep practicing during the season, to stay in shape and make sure all of the bumps in and out of the truck and up and down the tree hasn't moved anything.

Just a friendly reminder. We owe it to the deer to be on target.

ugh....been way too long. i aint gunna lie to ya, probably the weekend of 10-27 or maybe first weekend of nov.

BUT, i havent hunted with it since and dont plan to hunt with it till the end of september at the earliest. i normally dont quit till it gets super cold...but this year we moved to a new house the or 2nd weekend of nov...i been busy every weekend since. i goto college during the week so practice time is limited to fri-sun when im in school...

im going through withdraws...i'll be flingin arrows this next month or so while im on winter break...i miss it...

if i was still hunting with it, id still be shooting...wont hunt if im not shooting it.

the weekend i killed my buck i hauled my broadhead target to school for the week and then to my buddies camp for the weekend..friday afternoon i pulled in the drive, threw up the target and shot 30+ arrows...geared up and went huntin' unpacked the truck after dinner...was going to shoot saturday between my morning and evening hunt as well, but...he was dead by 930...my 1 arrow flew true...

I shot 30 arrows from my longbow 2 days ago outside and usually shoot 8-10 or so at the bag inside every night to stay sharp on anchor and keep the muscles tuned.

I'm going to try to take a doe with the longbow in our 2nd season so that will make a deer taken with a compound, recurve and longbow all in the same season. I think that would be pretty cool.

Starting Dec23 things will switch gears and our 15 week outdoor winter 3D league starts and I'll have all the shooting I can stand.[:-]
