Default Late season rallies

I figure we can lump all the who's next kind of posts into one "late season rally thread". Many guys seasons are either winding down, or the deer are recovering fom shell shock and you have to figure the kills at this point are going to be rather sparse.

So who's going to march the field and score with less than 2 minutes to go?

After all the effort he's put in so far, I got to put my bet on Germ.

lol...you guys are too much....

before reading the poster name, or the end of the post my instincts said "rybo or germ"

funny that you both posted....im still rootin for both of you....if anyone can get it done, i feel confident in you both...

late season hunting in any of you guys' states is TOUGH...with a bow, its borderline impossible, for the caliber of bucks you guys persue...my hats off to both of you, because i know you will both go down still kicking and either tag a buck or swap tag soup recipes...but i have confidence in both of you...and am waiting to read "the post mauser has been waiting for"

good luck guys...keep at it...never know when mr mass or another biggun might get hungry or want to spoon or be heading to bed and comes right by the tree you guys are sittin in...

Even though I may not see many bucks in the post rut, this is one of my favorite seasons to archeryhunt, so, throw my name in the mix, I had a great weekend of scouting this past one out in the snow, I still need another week to scout as the deer are starting to transition back into a normal mode of bedding and feeding, the woods with snow reads like a book here andreally soon now that the rutting routes are dieing down a few old bucks in my hunting areas will hole up for the winter in specific areas.

Then I am off to ND after Christmas to give it one last shot on an out of state whitetail hunt with fellow HNI member TJF! I cant wait.

Good luck Ryan and Gary!

Rybo, Germ, Shed... I'd have to say that all 3 of you guys have a very realistic shot at taking a buck down sometime here in the next month.

There are a couple guys on my team that also might be able to make it happen (Mcouey and Blueranger).

Best luck to everyone.

As soon as this rain clears out Thursday evening-- which is kind of a blessing since I hurt my shoulder this past weekend and it gives it some time to heal up -- I'll be back out there slipping in and out of some great places and I just might be able to surprise something hopefully!

Best of luck to everyone out there still sticking it out!

Well, I might've voted for myself, but I already did it!!! (Yeah, I'm still giddy over it, shut up).

With that said I think Germ might get it done in OH. Rybo is in PA and I know our deer are real jumpy right now even though the gun season kill numbers will be down.

Greg is down in MO so there is always potential there.

I know DropTine has been seeing them too, so he might tag a late season buck.

Good luck to all.

Things are looking good here. Don't count me out yet.

We've been doing more scouting then hunting toget a grasp of where the bucks have been pushed to. So far we have6 good areas to hunt with multiple bucks and a few of them being good sized.

The muzzle loader season ends this weekend and there hasn't been much pressure due to that. The few I haveseen spend most of their time road hunting.

This weekend, we will hit it hard now that we know where the deer are bedding and feeding again.

Troy by the time you get here... things will be settled down good.We should have more areas scouted out with the deer going back to a routine. I need to get a hold ofa few more landowners for permission which shouldn't be a problem. If that goes good, which it should, wewon't have time to hunt it all while your here. Right now we would have enough for any wind direction.
