Love em. There made for guys that are used to grabbing hold of rather thick extrimities. Guys that don't like em, well I'm just saying.

motown...that must be the thing with mathews owners....

every time my buddy hands me his at a 3d shoot i cringe over that grip...he says "your just not used to holding anything that thick" i laugh every time and tell him i dont have to do the holdin

i just dont like it...part of it is the thickness..the other part is the angle...i broke my wrist and it never healed right...i can hardly move it side to side...the grip seems to be too much of an angle for me and makes it uncomfortable...

just me...i just dont like them..other than that i like the bows...

I dunno, MOHO. I always liked chicks with little ankles.

(I'm just sayin)

Just jokin' with ya buddy. The Mathews grips are an acquired taste, for sure.

Their hunting bows are fine, nothing spectacular though. It doesn't bother me a bit though to be honest, it's only a hunting bow.

With that said, their target Apex series bows have the best grips I've personally ever seen. The only thing close to them is the older Shrewd grips that came on target color Bowtechs years ago, and the Scepter 4 grip made by Martin. Just my opinion.

I see no problem with the grip.Again we go to personal preference , but my Switchback has put many arrows through deer and targets with no problem at all.It does the job and that is all that matters.A grip ,,,,,,,,cmon now
