Default Stolen from Again!!

Well it happened to me again. Back in September I had my trail cam stolen. I went to a different property sum 70 miles away to hunt tonight and sure enough if my #$@!%$# stand is'nt gone. Private land no less. I guess some things will never change. Three yrs ago I had my climber stolen sometime between 10 and 12 as I walked back to eat lunch. Whatta do...thanks I just had to vent.

Been there and had it happen. The bad part of it all.... it's probably a hunter that did it. Low class, scum sucking thief. May his wife leave him for the junk man.

That's why I have two ladder stands that haven't even touched a tree yet. I see it all the time where someone leaves their stand there, assuming no one will even see it. It's like leaving your keys in your car in the middle of the country. Maybe no one sees it, but it's all to easy to just get in and drive off.

Sorry for the loss though, didn't mean to come off as a jerk or anything. I had a radio stolen out of my boat once, I know how it feels.

I just don't know what drives people like that, I really don't. Stands and cameras, cameras and stands.......it's amazing every year.

My only suggestion would be if it's private land NOT owned by you , to check with the landowner and make sure a family member etc might not have removed it thinking you were trespassing. I have seen instances of this and the guys got their stuff back with an apology.

If not, I gotta agree with the others, nothing worse than a scumbag theif "fellow hunter"[:@]

that stinks when that happens , are you locking it to the tree ? you got to be a real scum bag to come and cut the lock off to steal it. On my hang on stands i use a special
bolt with a star bit to drive it in to the tree where it is hidden . it is to close to the stand to bolt cut and its case hardened so it would be very difficult to saw off . I havn't lost one yet doing this

All these stolen items every year and I have never heard of someone actually catching someone walking out with their possessions. I know I would love to be that someone
