Default The Nanny Whacking Continues.....

There's way too many does on this farm here in Northern IL so dukemichaels and I have been doing our fair share of Nanny-schwaking this year to help thin them out a bit. This is #4 on the year, 2 for each of us. And with a good month left to go, chances are we'll get one or two more. Taken tonight at about 25-30 yards from the ground. Fun stuff!!

Tenderloins are marinating in some Italian Dressing right now.

I'm not sure what she weighed, but she's was a big doe for sure. I would guess in the 140 range, maybe a tad more. She's got a huge head.

After I dragged her out into a clearing from where she fell I was getting my stuff together and this little guy showed up so I snapped some photos of him. All in all, a pretty good night in the woods!
