I have no experience with the Barracuda, but the word Zebra leaves a sour taste in my mouth. My opinion? You'll get a better string and cables for lesss money from Gibblet. PM him. He's a member on these boards. Maybe a search for Bucknasty strings will get you more info.

The Barracuda strings come on the new Mathews bows. They look well constructed and are supposed to be pre-stretched. The servings look very good and I see no separation. I have one on my Switchback LD and mine seems to have settled in quite nicely (about 50 shots) no complaints thus far.
I second BGFisher, Go with Gibblet. I shot my Mathews with the factory strings and jsut switched to Gibblet's strings and cables. Very Good product with Very good service And Very good price. Those factory strings are supposed to be pre stretched but i still had some string rotation. Will never shoot anything but Gibblets stuff now.
The Zebra and Barracuda strings really are two very different critters. The Zebra's were terrible. The Barracuda's I've seen on the 06+ bows have been pretty good strings. The center serving isn't exactly the material I like but they are stable and don't creep any more than anything else I've seen.
With that said, Gibblet's strings are less money, and have better quality servings than anything I've seen yet.
