Slaying a single button won't mess up your buck to doe ratio, especially with how you manage your properties, just don't make a habit of it. We all try to avoid it but it does happen unfortunately so don't sweat it.
Congrats on the deer and that's awesome that you'll be able to get some property. I'm hoping to own some of my own land too one day. We'll see.
