Only 9 sits......and I had 100 deer SIGHTINGS (I say this....because I know I had multiple sightings of the same deer on the same days, sometimes).
70Does. 9 bucks (although I KNOW there were only 3 different bucks).21 fawns. 42 deer in bow range.
Ya think I still need to thin some does?
According to my log.....there was also something VERY interesting and something that skewed my numbers VERY high. I saw EIGHTY-FOUR of those deer (sightings) between 11/3 and 11/6. I shot the bull on the 6th, and got out of there until the 17th. I'm wondering what the numbers would have looked like if I'd stayed in the woods for that period of time????
Is this recently because I haven't seen crap! I've hunted areas that have not been hunted all year long and haven't seen the first dang doe, button, yearling, NOTHING. I think DNR came in and did a massive sweep in Stokes and removed all the deer.
Only logical solution I can come up with.

I'd say if you had a good amount of property to hunt and saw that many deer between the 3rd and the 6th of Nov., that you would have had excellent results from the 6th-17th...now if you had a small piece of land, then you could have possibly over hunted it....
This first week of December/last week of November can be really hard on seeing deer from what I have seen in the woods. I have always started seeing more deer in about 2 weeks...guess they are tired out from the rut and the hunting pressure is at an all time high.
I'm in Randolph county, saw 7 Saturday morning, 4 were bucks either behind a doe or looking for a doe...The first came through at 6:30am, last at 9:45 and saw one more when I came out of the woods, in a field eating at 11:50...I saw 2 does and one buck Saturday evening...
